Vintage NOS NWT Deadstock 1940s Womens 2 pc Suit Swing Jacket Wool Gabardine

A true vintage treasure! Un-worn, original tags still on late 1940s womens suit! Made by "Youthcraft - Styled to the Size" this is a misses or juniors sized suit, best for a petite adult. Unique style and color in a light oatmeal hue. Matched jacket & skirt in gorgeous wool gabardine fabric, jacket is fully lined in rayon crepe.
Jacket is open fit with a slight swing shape, boxy and loose through body with padded shoulders and oversized collar. Belted back detail with decorative brass buttons that match buttons at front. There are hidden slash pockets at front of jacket as well, with a patterned liner that matches skirt. Skirt is a midi-length flared cut with high banded waist and metal zipper at side. Pleated detail at front. A killer suit! Never worn, excellent condition with just one minor thing to note. Right sleeve has a small spot of wear to fabric as pictured, most likely occurred in storage. No stains, smells, seam issues, it is fabulous! Pictured on a US womens size small / 4 mannequin but best fits an XS. Please see measurements listed below.
