  • Condition: Very nice gently used condition. There is no designer label, size tag or fabric content label in this suit only a vintage union tag, Suit appears to be very well made from heavy tartan wool and the jacket is fully lined. All buttons present and zipper works well. There might have been 2 decorative buttons where jacket snaps at the waist as there are 2 thread marks but no buttons. Jacket functions fine without them but I did want to point it out.

    Description

    Vintage 1960s Tartan Plaid Skirt Suit Jacket and Pleated Skirt EUC Size Medium.  Very nice gently used condition.  There is no designer label, size tag or fabric content label in this suit only a vintage union tag,  Suit appears to be very well made from heavy tartan wool and the jacket is fully lined. All buttons present and zipper works well.  There might have been 2 decorative buttons where jacket snaps at the waist as there are 2 thread marks but no buttons. Jacket functions fine without them but I did want to point it out.
    The jacket is a double breasted style with a mandarin collar and 8 button front.  There is a flap pocket on the upper right chest and front snap waist below the buttons. It is fully lined. The measurements are
    19" from underarm to underarm
    21" Sleeves top of shoulder to end of wrist
    25" total length rear top of collar to end of jacket
    The matching skirt has large pleats all the way around.  It is not lined.  It has a set in waistband and a side zipper. The measurements are 28" waist, 40" hips and 23" total length.
    Very fun and retro I get kind of a That Girl vibe from this suit. Could be worn as a suit or worn as separates. The jacket would be great with jeans.
