VINTAGE 1960's W/ TAGS 4 PIECE MRS H WINTERS YESTERDAYS NEWS VELVET SUIT

Sandines Originals New York City.  Made in the lmid to late 1960's, today we are featuring this lovely dress with the original store and factory tags still attached. Tag lists it as being made of Rayon and metallic.
This is a really fun vintage 1960's or early 1970's green velvet 4 piece suit.  Made by Mrs. H Winters Yesterdays News, this is just a really fun and unique outfit.
Let's start with those high waisted bell bottom pants.  These have a 15.5 inches rise.  The waist is 24 inches and the inseam is 33.5 inches. These have a crease where they hung for years on a hanger.  Please see the photos.
The blouse is actually a wrap around blouse with hook and eye and a snap at the top.  This has a length of elastic in the front at the waist.  The ties make this pretty flexible on waist size.  The arms are 18 inches long and have a pin in them where someone might have been wanting to gather or shorten them.  I just left the pens in. Shoulder to shoulder the blouse measures 15.5 inches and the bust is 36 inches.
The jacket has a bust of 41 inches.  Shoulder to shoulder it if between 16 to 17 inches. The arms are 18 inches long when measured from under the arm. The length of the jacket is 28.5 inches.
The belt is 35 inches long.
These still have their tags.  One tag must list the store as it says "Billy Lewis Sport Shop."
None of these pieces have any bad smells but as stated previously, I would steam these pieces to refresh and fluff up the velvet.  Maybe use a clothing brush too.
