Vintage 1950s Goldworm USA Knit Suit Set Skirt Top Linen Wool Arnel Blend Wiggle

This is an amazing skirt set from Gold Worm. It was made in the United States and features a knit constructed from Herdman's linen, Arnel Triacetate, and Wool. The size labels state size 16, but due to the difference in sizing from decades ago, this would be better suited for a small/medium frame. Condition wise, there is a small stain on the front of the skirt which isn't very noticeable, but otherwise, it is in good vintage condition. As the set is approximately 60 years old, there is a small amount of wear and tear, but it is still completely usable.
I handwashed the set with Persil detergent and laid flat to dry. The measurements are as follows (taken while the garment was laying flat/zipped/buttoned and unstretched): TOP: Bust: 20" Waist: 18" Length 20" (This is a shorter shirt which is in line with the style of the decade) SKIRT: Waist: 16" Hips: 18" Length: 23" As this is a knit set, it does stretch.
