Description
These rare and unusual souvenirs we're sold by the US National Treasury, in Washington, DC, in the late 1800's though the early 1900's. Old and damaged currency was macerated into a paper mache paste, which was pressed into molds, of various items and themes. This 5.5" long ladies style shoe is still in excellent condition for its age. The label, on the shoe's sole, is still mostly intact, and states that this particular piece was made from approximately ,000 in currency. Ripley's Believe It or Not once displayed a lifesize shoe, made in the same fashion, but containing far more money. Perhaps this is what the Kardashians can do with all their useless money... 🤔
