1940's Vintage Riding Style Suit

Shiny Brown Satin
The Satin has a Bonded back, so it is Thick
Wasp Waist Fitted with Side and Bottom Bodice darts
Large Collar
Buttons down the front with covered buttons and loops
shoulder pads too
They are all there, but the loops are like new, and my arthritis was acting up
Flared Skirt made with 8 gores and a side seam painted metal metal zipper
That Jaunty Hat, I'm sure was part of the ensemble, listed separately
No size tag, so Please go by measurements taken laid flat seam to seam
14 1/2" shoulder to shoulder
18" armpit to armpit
12" waist jacket and skirt
22 1/2" sleeves
19 3/4" long from back neck
27" long skirt
Excellent vintage Condition. Some scuffs on the skirt and one on the shoulder of collar, see photo
I took a picture looking down the skirt because it's hard to get a picture of the scuffs
I think they are from storage
The skirt you can see original hem, but was professionally hemmed by adding a piece of the same satin
I assume done where it was purchased
