Great collection of vintage postal stationery and covers from the iconic R.H. Macy’s department store at Herald Square, New York City.
Dating back to the 1880’s when the store was located at 14th St & Sixth Ave. to its move at the turn of the century to 34th St & Broadway at Herald Square, this is an excellent collection of covers from the store. Valuable vintage postal stationery with Macy’s imprint. Majority of covers include the iconic red star logo of Macy’s, still in use today.
Covers are in Good to VF condition, with the 1895 cover showing some rips in front. Overall displays well though. Includes a Sc 409 Schermack vending variety coil.
