Postcard mailed from Puerto Rico on board German Navy Gunboat SMS Panther to Germany in july 1904.
Germany Navy Gunboat SMS Panther served in Germany overseas colonies. From autumn 1902 till 1907 SMS Panther
was in service in South America and Caribbean waters. Participated in Markomannia Incident in Haiti september 1902 and in
Venezuelan Crisis Fort San Carlos was bombarded by SMS Panther (december 1902).
Marine Schiffspost No.47 postmark on Jul.13,1904.
German Navy postmark Marine Schiffspost No.47 was used for correspondence mailed from SMS Panther.
