Ludwig and Ludwig 28 x 14 Bass Drum 1930s Black Avalon Pearl

Description

A rare and beautiful drum in overall very good shape for being almost 90 years old in a very desirable wrap.
The good: as far as I can tell, it’s all original minus one calfskin head. The wrap is gorgeous.
The inner shell is in nice shape and dates it to Oct ‘38. Tunes up and sounds nice. all of the tension rod bow tie screws have an L on them for leedy.
The bad: Has one small crack in hoop that was lightly glued. The unoriginal calfskin head has a slight rip in it but still sounds good tuned up. The hoop inlays are coming up and are being held down by the claw. There is one spot of one hoop that is missing some inlay.
Unfortunately due to size, shipping will be expensive as I will get charged for an “oversized item”.
