The Injen Cold Air Intake has been designed to increase horsepower, torque, and improve the throttle response. This is achieved by replacing the factory restrictive air box. The Injen Intake features smooth bends in the piping, and proper bracket mounting locations for a proper fitment. Additionally the piping has been powder-coated black to blend in nicely with the engine bay, and there is a provision for the factory map sensor.
The Injen CAI for the BMW 328i features Injen's patented MR Technology, their webbed Nano-Fiber Dry filter, 6061 T6 aluminum intake tube, Air box with scoop and TIG welded construction.
In testing performed by Injen at their R & D facility the 328i Short Ram system made
9.6 hp and 21.54 ft. lbs of torque!
