Finnish army M 65 field cap with rare Mannerheim Exlibris Monogram Pin-cockade

Finnish army М 65 Field Utility Dress Hat Cap from the Finnish Army surplus stock with
Genuine and extremely hard to find, serial numbered pin-cockade made in 1951, equipped with a monogram stylized by the Commander-in-Chief of the Finnish Defense Forces, Marshal Mannerheim.
Marski's badges were sold for the first time in a public fundraiser for the Mannerheim equestrian statue to be erected in Helsinki in 1952. There were almost 750,000 donors at that time!
Mannerheim's position as a great man is indisputable: he led Finland in the best possible way during its most difficult times. Although Mannerheim had a completely Swedish background and spent many years abroad as Tsar General, he managed to gain the trust and support of the Finnish people.
The silver plated pin is made of copper and zink and doesn't contain nickel.
Caps are new and unused, except 2-3 pcs. of the bigger sizes (60-63) that are really hard to find, but they are washed and from outside look like new and unused. Manufactured during 60:s - 70:s by Valtion Pukutehdas (State Clothing Factory).
Made of wool lined with an inner cloth material (polyester) and leather band (brown or light grey).  Please send desired size in the message when you are making the order.

Because hats are more than 50 years old some of them can be shrink a little bit, but can be extended by steaming.
Standard delivery is economy  without tracking in the letter envelope that requires folding the cap to fit the size requirements. I always make video of dropping package to the post box. Because there isn't tracking I am not responsible of any loss caused by the post office after I have dropped the envelope to the post box.
If you need tracking or don't want your hat to be folded, costs will be calculated separately on request or you can order delivery yourself from your country that is usually cheaper then sending from Finland. I will arrange proper packing and delivery within Finland to the logistics centers of DHL, TNT, Schenker etc. Package size without folding is 6 x 6 x 5 inches and weight 1 lb.
