This item is part of a collection of trains and accessories we have been asked to sell for the family of the former owner who has passed on.  Most of these items were found in his climate controlled storage unit, where they have been for several years

The item is untested.  If there is anything to test, it has not been tested beyond rolling the wheels as I have no track or engine to run it with.

SHIPPING OPTIONS:
TO KEEP COSTS DOWN THE PRIMARY SHIPPING METHOD WILL BE UPS OR FEDEX
You must have a residential or commercial address or you CANNOT select UPS or FedEx (No AK, PR, Guam, APO, VI)
Because the USPS charges a premium price for Priority Mail (and just raised their rates again in October), yet no longer feel the need to deliver it within the 2-3 days time they state and that YOU pay for, I do not offer that service as my primary shipping method.  Recently I have had Priority Mail packages arriving 5-7 business days or more coast to coast.  Both UPS and FedEx deliver all packaged within 4-5 days (even coast to coast) and they are allot less expensive than USPS Priority Mail.
If you prefer USPS Priority Mail
(or your address is a PO Box, AK, PR, Guam, VI or APO) it is also listed as an option but  it is expensive.  The USPS now charge a premium for any package over 1 cubic foot (12x12x12).  If you prefer this method do not expect the package in 2-3 days!
AND do not complain to me when it takes a week or more to arrive!
BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS - YES IT IS EXPENSIVE!
Shipping is by box dimensions and weight.  If a seller says it costs to ship a similar item, THAT IS NOT WHAT IT WILL COST HIM!  he will pay the remainder.  The price you see here is the price I will be charged by the shipper.  The train train measures 22 inches long.  The box will need to be at least 24" x 8" x 8" to protect the train from damage (we all know how the shippers handle packages) so you can go from there to estimate the charge!
If you want the item boxed to ensure safe delivery, I will do that.  Shipping is based on box dimensions and weight.  Feel free to contact the USPS, UPS or FedEx and see what their charge is.  You will see I am not lying!
Oh and don't be fooled into thinking you save money by buying Parcel Select or USPS Ground.  For the few dollars you 'may' save, you add several days to the delivery time AND most important, the package is not insured... and we all know how the USPS handles uninsured packages!
USPS GROUND / PARCEL SELECT
- Due to the terribly slow delivery time (7-21 business days is not unusual), and the high rate of damaged packages (because most packages sent by this service are not insured, thus treated like garbage by the USPS), I do not ship USPS Retail Ground or Parcel Select unless the buyer requests this service WITH insurance
- AND DON'T BE FOOLED!  This service saves you about 50 cents over Priority Mail and takes weeks instead of days!
