The crx has always been in my top 10 cars to own and drive. You can just do so many things with them !5-speed manual, clean title, 202k from highway driving. The car runs and drives good. I don’t notice any real major mechanical issues or hear any sounds that concern me.
Trying to find one of these cars in this shape is literally getting almost impossible these days. Most kids got a hold of them and completely trashed or extremely modified them. It’s refreshing to see one stock sometimes lol
Hagerty insurance had the Dodge Viper and the 89-91 crx si as the top 2 collector cars last year .
The car is mostly original. I recently added amber corner and turn signal lights. I painted the wheels the closest thing to the stock color I could find. They were a bit rough.
The only real modification I see is a different radio. I just had the car detailed and the paint looked great besides the hood is a little dull. The rest of the car shines.
There are little flaws like little dings that are hard to see in photos. I was going to have a paintless dent remover guy go over it and get rid of the few small dings it has .
The hood and front bumper have Minor Rock chips , most of them from the car being used a highway commuter in California.
Some of the trim that used to be black has faded off. If I kept the car I would def fix all these little things on it.
I don’t really see any rust around the car . It’s pretty clean overall and I think you would be hard pressed to find another one in this survivor shape that isn’t asking over 10k.
I’m always up for trades and can add cash if needed. I’m looking for a 240sx s13 or s14, ae86 Corolla hatch, c10 trucks, drift, turbo, k swap, ef hatch si, projects, slammed, patina, etc
