    1859 The Merchants and Planters Bank note from Savannah, Georgia.
    This bank operated from around 1856 until it failed in the 1860's.
    This note features a detailed Vignette of a wagon yard assembling at the center. A portrait of Benjamin Franklin in seen on the lower left and a small Train Vignette is printed on the lower right. "1" denomination dies are at the upper corners with red accents! "ONE" protectors are printed in red/orange over the signature lines.
    This note grades Fine with a couple pinholes, a small thin spot on the lower left, and minor mounting residue.
