    This colorful note features a Vignette of a man preparing horses for wagon pulling. The portraits are of Kentucky Governor John J. Crittenden and his wife. Crittenden later served in the United States Senate as a member of the American/Know-Nothing Party. Two of his sons were Generals who served on opposing sides during the Civil War.
